Attack on Titan Season 4: Episode 13 Children of the Forest

This week's episode was rough. Then again the entirety of the show has been absolutely insane. Constant beloved character deaths. Gruesome situations. Hajime Isayama certainly has succeeded in hurting the beloved fans hearts. As quotes from his recent interview, "Once Attack on Titan is over and I successfully hurt everyone, I dream of opening a spa with the tears and sweat of my readers". I think we can expect a heartbreaking tragic painful ending. Brace yourselves everyone. It's only downhill from here.

So this week's episode. On a positive note, Eren's hair cut has brought him from a 10 to a 1000. He got his Season 4 glow up finally and I must say...fine as hell that man.

A casual meal...

Did you see the tear he was holding?

Will he ever get out of the forest? Or will he forever remain inside? Has Mikasa and Armin been controlled the entire time? Or were they acting of their free will? Is this the end of the trio?

I think our characters have reached a point where taking a life has become much easier than forgiveness and a hug. Mr. Blouse is one of the only characters who sees that killing Gabi would only perpetuate the never ending systematic cycle they are all trapped in. He chooses to leave the forest. Even if it means giving up revenge for the one who took his daughter's life.

Though I must say...

When Niccolo punched Gabi - I never smiled so big watching a child get hit. Probably rewatched that scene at least 6 times. What type of person that makes me I don't know. But then again, we're all team Eren and that says a lot already.
